About the Program:

The HSB Christian Hall of Practical Theology as the name implies will offer practical theology courses such as faith and work, ethics, bioethics, biblical hermeneutics, apologetics, and more. Courses such as church history, theology, Old Testament, New Testament, Augustine, and more will be offered too.

Regional Leadership

Dr. Luke Bobo

The The HSB Christian Hall of Practical Theology is led by Dr. Luke Brad Bobo. Dr. Bobo taught for nearly seven years at Lindenwood University (St. Charles, MO) in their Christian Ministry Studies Department. While teaching at Lindenwood, Dr. Bobo earned a PhD in Educational Leadership with an emphasis in second century rabbinic andragogy. He continues to teach an online apologetics course for his alma mater, Covenant Theological Seminary, where he eared his Master of Divinity with an emphasis in contemporary culture and apologetics. Luke also holds a M.S. and B.S. in Electrical Engineering. Before teaching, Dr. Bobo worked 15 years an electrical engineer. He is married to Rita and they have two adult kids, Briana Amber and Caleb Avery. Luke enjoys teaching practical theology courses and he has written several books and articles. And Dr. Bobo has co-authored several books. When he is not teaching, writing, or speaking, Dr. Bobo enjoys reading, family, friends, traveling, doing lawn work, and napping.
