(The Christian Athlete)

Congruency is partnering with the Faith & Sports Institute at Baylor University's Truett Seminary to provide their Online Certificate Program course on Brian Smith’s newly released book The Christian Athlete.

About the Course:

The Online Certificate Program from the Faith & Sports Institute at Baylor University’s Truett Seminary (FSI) is a non-credit, continuing education program. Students who successfully complete “The Christian Athlete” will receive a PDF certificate of completion, and are eligible to apply their course completion to the four-course Certificate in Sports Culture and Leadership from FSI.

Next Available Track: Summer 2022

Cost: Free (if registered through Congruency)

Application Deadline: June 6, 2022 (openings available)

Coaching:

In addition to the course, participants will be provided with four 1-on-1 coaching appointments and a TRAC assessment.

TRAC is a personalized assessment designed by Leader Breakthru, which assesses a person's current development and seeks to identify a current issue or need.

Coaching is an intentional and structured relationship which creates a place for the coachee to process, discover, and take responsibility for his or her own development.

Faith & Sports Institute

Housed at Baylor's Truett Seminary, the Faith & Sports Institute (FSI) is a team of athletes, coaches, chaplains, and scholars who provide theological education, compelling research, and formative practices for Christian leaders in sports. FSI has four primary initiatives: a graduate degree program, an online certificate program, a retreat for high school athletes, and the development of research and resources.
